I have purchased two of these, the extended latch on the left side has snapped off on both of them. Metal is very soft.
I've got these on my ar-10
I've got these on my ar-10 and ar-15....No problems here. The only complaint I've got is you may have to re-evaluate your gun case chioces because the arms profile is now wider. That could be why they "snap" apart. Buy a Pelican Case it will solve that.

Thanks for sharing this. I was just about to purchase a couple myself. I had a feeling that these are cheap Chinese-made crap using poorly made materials like a lot of gun parts on Amazon.com.
