Dammit! Why did the price go up so drastically on these? I was SOO CLOSE at being able to afford one at $299, now they're a "good deal" at $367.
I was planning on going for 7.62x39 and I think those are even higher..

Hopefully Classic or Centerfire Systems puts 'em back on regular price so I can snatch one.

They'll come back down once this whole "Mayan 2012" nonsense and Obama's re-eletion pass.

I have one in every caliber they make except the 5.45 and LOVE them. If your lucky, you'll even stumble across a deal like I did (a used 922 compliant converted 7.62x39 for $250), you just have to keep your eyes open. Craigslist is a wonderful place sometimes.

For what it's worth, my 410 and 20 gauge hardly ever see daylight, and I kind of wish I would have picked up another 5.56 and 7.62 for the same price instead. The 7.62 is a neat little gun/round combo for deer and hog hunting, as well as plinking when I feel like pulling out the cheap ammo.

As for the prices going down after 2012.. THE WORLD WILL HAVE ENDED. What good will it do me for killing zombies(?/mayans?) if it's in Centerfires warehouse!

I think I'll just probably bite the bullet though, if I can find one for like $330~ I'll probably just get it.. it'll hurt though.

I'd like to pick up one in 5.56 and 7.62x39 (or .308) myself, so I'm hoping prices magically fall through the floor after the end of the year. (Hopes aren't high about that, though.)

Craigslist, though? Guns are streng verboten there, last I checked. Armslist is supposed to be the gun version of Craigslist but prices there are almost as bad as in gun stores.

The gun-nazis have started flagging pretty much ANYTHING with the word "ar15" or "ak47" (if you can call those "words), so they're busy.

I thought more people knew about this, but I'm finding out not many people do http://www.allofcraigs.com lets you search ALL of Craigslist (across the US I think). That's how I find stuff. You might've already known, but still, I'm sure it'll help somebody heh..
