Are you serious. Yes you have a second amendment right to own the rifle but you do not have a right to demand what price you purchase them at. If you do not like the price they are asking then don't buy it. Otherwise what are you going to demand the government do something about it?
He didn't. More than likely it was a $300 Saiga that he paid $684 for. And that model of Arsenal rifle was selling for just under $1,000 at K-var and Atlantic so the price increase is not $1,000. And for the hundredth time here and on every forum you have been to, if you don't like the damn price don't pay it. No one owes you a lower than market price. Your options are to pay the price or go without.
No laws have been passed as of yet so we do not have to pay these prices. Also, you don't know what I bought or from where I bought it from. I was a dealer in the early 90's and I paid 179.00 for Chinese Norincos. I also own 3 Polytechs so I know a little about AK's. FYI I bought a IO AK from Royal Tiger so I would have a total of 6 Ak's. I don't like the damn price so I will not pay it.
