I liked it, and my Rainier

I liked it, and my Rainier 1:8 seemed to agree with it, but anything over .30 cpr, I expect it to be brass (reusable)...

I agree. Brass rules. Problem

I agree. Brass rules. Problem is, shooting is getting too expensive.
Coated steel is a grade between steel and brass IMO. Coated binds less than raw steel. I can feel it when loading magazines. At one time I bought 1k of this delivered @ $190. I'd jump on $250 delivered as I said below.

"Heard" it's rebranded Silver Bear.

What are all you guys crying

What are all you guys crying and complaining about really? SG doesn't even charge you until the item ships....I just started buying from them this past December, and have made tons of orders (multiple back ordered items) and haven't had a single problem...I could understand if they were charging you immediately, but they're not.

I agree. If they don't have

I agree. If they don't have it in stock they will fulfill via back order and will not charge you until it has shipped. I have ordered from them on numerous occasions and have never had an order cancelled, only delayed. As for this ammo, I picked up 1k rounds from them earlier this year for just a few bucks over $300. Yes, I waited 4-5 months for it to arrive, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality both aesthetically as well as performance. Easily holds a 2" group at 100yds with a low power scope. Although I haven't tried it yet, i wouldn't be surprised if I could shave .5 to .75" off my groups using a scope with higher power magnification. IMO, the extra $ for this versus Wolf (or similar) steel case is well worth it. Have had zero FTL, FTF or FTE's thus far in either of my AR's.

Protip: Never order anything

Protip: Never order anything on Sportsman's Guide that has a long backorder

They are great if they have stuff in stock.. usually ships in just a couple days, but SG's backorders are infamous.

That sucks, I never used SG

That sucks, I never used SG until I used this site and I always contemplated getting a membership, but after seeing everyone's comments like this, I won't be getting one. I'M TALKING TO YOUUU SPORTSMAN'S GUIDE. Great, they have the best prices, but if they can't follow through, who's going to stick around to give them business?

Ya I had to learn that the hard way when I missed out on ordering some ammo for my AK 74 because SG said it what I ordered would be in soon...lol then they moved it to shipping in JULY!

Great deal in today's

Great deal in today's inflated ammo market and availability, I would order 2 cases right now, but not expected to ship until June. A lot can happen between now and then, so Im going to hold off. I wouldnt think Hungarian or Russian made ammo would get too expensive regardless thanks to cheaper overall ammo from overseas.
