For anybody interested in these you may also look at the Primary Arms tactical sight. It's nearly identical to this one, it just only has red illumination rather than green also, but it's also much less expensive. I have one and it's great. Not in stock at the moment but they get them in regularly if you watch.

Ok, got it today and had some
Ok, got it today and had some time to play with it. Frist off.. It is a little heavy. Solid and well built though. It has two mounting options. First is the obvious way, slap her on and tighten it dow, second is to take the base off via the two screws on the bottom. It comes with a "wing nut" (round) in the box to mount it on the carry handle versions.
It is a bit bright, but I haven't taken it out side yet. I do like the dark non illuminated reticle that you can use if the batteries die. The illuminated reticles are clear and easy to see. Maybe a "tad" noisy in there, but I think you can get used to it quickly.
Over all... Yep, it is a keeper. I have it mounted on my RRA LAR8 h bar. Sits perfect and I can use my BUIS with it on as it has a sight hole in the base!! I couldn't use the buis on my RRA Lar 15 as with the base it sat too high on my tactical carry mount.
