I've seen very good & very bad reports. A friend has one he paid alot more for that runs like a swiss watch. Heres a month old review? http://www.deploymentessentials.com/century-arms-c93-review-hk-93-clone-...

Interesting review. They must of had the correct locking piece otherwise it would have been jamming all of the time. I wonder how they obtained the pistol, was it sent to them for review? If so, most of the time the provider is smart enough to send one that works great.

Thank you so much, for taking the time and saving me a lot of money for nothing. I really was interested in this as a bodyguard type weapon for security work.

I've been waiting to leave a

I've been waiting to leave a review of this pistol on slickguns. I purchased mine many months ago and was really excited to get it. Took it to the range and shot 4 various brands of ammo. It was unbelievable how bad the gun molested the brass casings when it WOULD decide to eject them. I have NEVER seen anything like it. It also failed to eject every third round or so causing the next round to have the bullet pressed into its own case.

Now with that being said here is what you need to know why the pistol is doing such a thing. First the parts kits they used were from a rifle. Certain pieces should have been swapped out but were not, causing the problems. To date I have purchased the following parts in an effort to get it running smooth:
Locking piece
Ejector lever
Ejector lever spring
Extractor
Extractor spring
HK 53 recoil spring
New rollers to resize the bolt gap and bring it into spec.

Off the top of my head these parts will cost you at least $200.

You will also want to purchase some magazines that will have to be modified to fit this pistol as well. I went with MKE's which run about $35 each IF you can find them!!!

Another thing, when these pistols were manufactured many actually had the barrel turned down to make it easier to press it into the trunion. That is a big no no. The problem with doing this is the barrel will move and screw up the bolt gap. To get that fixed will probably cost you another $300.

With all of that being said, the last trip I went to the range and had a blast with this gun. I also added a pistol brace. Out of 100 rounds it failed to eject the last two rounds, don't know why, will probably have to send it to an expert for some tweaking.

If you plan to add a pistol brace and get the gun running correctly, assuming it will be DOA when you receive it, you will be looking at around $1,100 and unfortunately you will still own a Century firearm. Expect to keep it for a long time and enjoy it because you will NOT get your money back unless there is an assault rifle ban.

Vector sells one for $1325 with a paddle release and the cocking tube is correctly welded. I do not know about their reliability.

Best of luck, your gonna need it!!
