This DPMS Low Profile Flat-Top AR-15 Stripped Upper Receiver is constructed of Extruded 7029 T6 Aluminum and given a Hard Coat Anodized Finish for durability. The upper comes equipped with a Flat-Top Picatinny Rail that can accommodate the broad spectrum of modern sighting arrangements, including any number of rear iron sights, red dot sights, or rifle scopes. The Low Profile Upper is a "Slickside" design that lacks a brass deflector and has no provision for adding a forward assist or ejection port door, creating a sleek, smooth profile devoid of all protrusions and potential snag points. Stripped upper does not include any internal parts.

Got mine in yesterday. So far it seems like a quality piece. I put it up to my lower and the holes for the takedown pins are about as close as your going to get without having a matched set. Got to wait for my LPK to come in, to test the actual fit, but so far it looks pretty good. Front hole is spot on, rear is about 1/32" off. Not to bad IMO. FYI, it is extruded so its a little thicker than a billet or forged, but I don't think it's so thick that it deters from its function or looks (unless you want to use a BAD Lever - read reviews
)....

That's what I thought about for about a second.. then asked when the last time I used my forward assist on any of my AR's... never...
So I`m giving it a shot.. literally... we shall see..

I picked up one of these yesterday. Not a bad deal, this is pretty close to a "pre-hysteria" price I think. Anyway if I don't like it or it doesn't work for me I think I should be able to get most of my money back out of it.
