The Hawk Model 981R is patterned after America's favorite 12 GA pump, and features a machined solid steel receiver, an 18 1/2" barrel with 3 inch chamber and a bead sight. This traditional pump action model is fitted with polymer stocks with recoil pad and has a black matte finish. |

There is a humungous reason. It is too info intensive to explain and sparks too many debates as to why. I am not trying to demean you in ANY I swear! You have my respect up front and summarily given....but earned therein after. If you haven't been watching this market, and its apparent you haven't, then I could understand why you would be wondering why CTD is being bashed and boycotted by many....INCLUDING and ESPECIALLY me. I will give it my simplest of examples:

By the way...it is in stock if you are looking for a $99 piece of plastic and metal spring (YES, I know about R&D but they have met that cost association long ago- Magpul did not invent the magazine...they just copied from others and perfected it....to a degree...they aren't even the best mags out there...just the popular one. There are better mags out there...Of course my opinion and everyone has an opinion..right or wrong.
I am all for businesses making a profit. They wouldn't be in business if they didn't make a profit....and I wouldn't be able to buy what I want....but there is a line...CTD has certainly crossed it. When all this calms down I VOW to NEVER buy from them even if what they offered was free in comparison to a few dollars from other companies.
I am sure there will be a rebuttal to this pointing out SUPPLY AND DEMAND and FREE Market...blah blah blah...you that want to argue....I have a question for you....Did you buy this $99.00 Pmag when there were no mags available 2 months ago? If so please respond. I want to give you a hug and pat your head.
