Not a great deal but free

Not a great deal but free shipping means a lot to me since I live so far out of town.

Not a great deal but pretty good with the free shipping. Direct to my house for $0.304/rnd including tax. Sure beats a 60 mile round trip into town IF there is any in stock.

Walmart never has crap and

Walmart never has crap and their prices are higher. We have a Cabelas and a Walmart right next to each other. Went to Cabelas yestwrday and picked up my 22lr shipment. 9mm was fully stocked with all the brands. 14.99 for American Eagle, 13.99 Herters, 29.99 for WWB-100. With it being that much at the store, it will begin dropping further. A couple more months on the 9mm.

Walmart prices have definitely gone up.
I don't buy from walmart unless they have 22lr.
Wwb 45acp is $24.95 plus tax
I can buy online for less then that thru like cabelas when on sell.
And never leave my home.
Walmart prices have gone beyond any savings over the web.
Herters brass case reloadable for $13.99 is a fantastic deal where I live.
Viva las Vegas baby
Thanks cabela and the people that post so I don't have to hunt it down.
Slickguns I will always bet on them to find the very best deals out there.
My pocket can contest to that.
Thanks slickguns

Unless you are desperate,

Unless you are desperate, better to buy the 100 rnd. bulk packs of brand name Win/Federal locally for .25/rnd and no shipping. Cabela's prices have jumped, but my wallymarts have stock most every time I stop in now. Wallymart was one of the few who didn't price gouge during the height of the ammo drought. FYI: a bunch of us got burned by Cabela's last fall over a bait & switch ammo deal and are treating them like other ripoffs including CTD and Natchez.

Exactly! Sorry but most

Exactly! Sorry but most people do not live in the south or midwest...stop posting to go to Walmart to buy ammo! No Walmarts in my state carry ammo. No Cabelas in my state either. We have no choice but to buy online. If you can post a link to buy ammo cheaper online, then please do so. Otherwise stop the "I bought it cheaper in Walmart" crap...it gets boring.

I don't know about you, but I got $75 in gift cards from Cabela's over that ammo blunder last Fall. I disagree that Cabela's prices have jumped. My observation is that they have stayed flat.
Wally world on the other hand has certainly raised prices. The days of $20 WWB are over.

Seems to be coming back to Earth. I just left one of the Walmart Supercenters in Bowling Green, KY and they actually had several boxes of 9mm Federal and Blazer Brass on the shelf a week after ammo delivery. The Blazer Brass was $13.96 per box. Now for .223 to start dropping....

First off I wanted to say

First off I wanted to say thanks to the members who post here re; ammo/guns. I just signed up minuets ago but have been using this site for a while. I don't have experience or knowledge to add so I just shut up and read and look for savings. I have a XDM 9mm comp and Beretta 92A1 9mm that's the good news bad news no ammo. I wasn't willing to pay over the top $ but #1 I need ammo to shoot in a few weeks and $14.99 was good for me. I live 5min from Cabelas but never find ammo in store, my luck. Online order ok with me. Herters brand works in both my guns. This was a good deal for me.

$10-$11 is NORMAL where I'm

$10-$11 is NORMAL where I'm from. Prices are droping not as rapidly as they shot up, but consistently. Will we see $10 9mm brass tomorrow? Probably not, but I'd wager that you see it by Thanksgiving (pending another headline-grabbing incident).

Awesome for you... really.

Awesome for you... really. However, most of us don't live in the magical ammunition wonderland where you all reside.

This site is primarily for online deals so if you got one then post it. If you absolutely MUST rub it in everyone's face that you have the manufacturer's ammo outlet in your backyard... at least tell us the name of the store and where it is. That way maybe a few of us in your area can get in on the deal.

If you are going to hoard the deals for yourself, then please smugly inventory your arsenal and shut up. No offense intended... I'm just tired of seeing posts get beaten up when they show online deals that are good for that particular day.

The cheapest 9mm in my area... the local gun range. $18.99 2 box limit with purchase of range time. Half the time, those are reloads.

I started out with 9mm on a

I started out with 9mm on a case of 1000 S&B 115-gr FMJ for $200 about a year ago. I'm not really talking about the prices, I went to see this stuff on the shelves this past weekend and it's definitely S&B right down to the box, just with different print on the cardpaper. Same great compact cartridge frame that's less than half the size of your average (WWB, etc.) boxes, so I keep them when they're empty and use them to store all my ammo. I guess Cabela's is paying better wholesale than what they sell their print boxes for. I know it's a moot point, but since it's all S&B headstamp inside, I'd rather it was S&B print on the outside.

Agree about the cartridge

Agree about the cartridge frame... I keep all my empties to store other bulk ammo. Great S&B ammo too... haven't had a single malfunction in about 800 rounds of this.

Not real sure what your point is about the printing on the box. It could say "JackAss Ammo" for all I care, as long as the product is quality. Herter's is Cabela's house brand. They rebrand other ammunition to fill the Herter's boxes. 9mm brass is usually S&B, 9mm aluminum is Blazer, .223 steel is TulAmmo, etc etc.

I bought this at cabelas 2

I bought this at cabelas 2 weeks ago....great looking ammo / my wife fired 50 through her berreta and it worked as well as any premium brass usa made ammo 13.99 in the store 5 boxes allowed per person.
Subtract 20.00 if you apply for a Cabelas Visa. So 10 boxes averages .24 cents per round.

"still decent considering the

"still decent considering the times"

I wish people would stop saying that. The more you say that, the more you're training and conditioning yourself to think that this is the new normal. Remember when gas started to spike over $2 and how outraged people were and how many times it made the news? What's it now, around $4? You don't hear the noise and outrage anymore, people have just accepted it as the new normal, while those involved in and connected to the oil industry continued to become even more stinking rich.

I fail to see the point of

I fail to see the point of these "It used to be less" posts. Unless you're willing to not shoot, or not drive they're meaningless. If you need ammo now, this is a decent price. Period, end of the conversation. Maybe it's not a time to stock up extra thousands of rounds, but if you want to shoot and have no ammo, go ahead and get this.

Best one posted today yet.

Best one posted today yet. Its not winchester but at $10 less per 100 than earlier its worth spending the money ifyou need the ammo. Hey whiner whatever your name is, if you didn't waste all your money on the awful deals earlier you should jump on this mediocre one. This is actually god enough to be on the site right now :-)

exactly. Nothing wrong for

exactly. Nothing wrong for praising 14.99 price when locally I have to pay 19.99 for "readily" available ammo at my range..or occasionally find some for 16.99, and those are the cheaper ones...would I like to see it drop down to old prices? Hell yeah..but I like to shoot and its one of the few hobbies I have time for that I can squeeze in at a moments notice rain or shine...so quit busting our balls for saying deals like these are good... I believe that sites like this help lower the prices...by rewarding the retailers who dont price gouge and kicking the ones who do to the curb and letting everyone else know so they can speak with their wallets too...
