I see they have a similar, if
I see they have a similar, if not the same, vest on eBay for slightly less. I noticed that the vest on eBay is also shipped from Israel. The link posted for 349.99 in this thread lists the vest as meeting NIJ standard-0101.04, while the posts on eBay list as meeting requirements for NIJ standard-0101.06.

How does the vest for 349.99 compare to a vest such as the following?

This ships from Israel. Its been held in US customs for a week now, who knows if/when it'll actually get through... Worth a few extra bucks to get it from amazon.
Edit - this was actually supposed to be a reply to my own comment about purchasing directly from the company. Actually though, I just clicked on Amazon and the shipping option says 18-30 days, so it looks like it doesn't matter where you order from, its going to take a loooooong time to arrive...
Thanks for letting us know.

Just picked it up from USPS
Just picked it up from USPS this morning. Got the note in the mailbox yesterday. In retrospect, except for the week it was in customs, shipping was really fast coming from Israel... And I'm glad I ordered from the companies website b/c I didn't see an option for choosing a size on Amazon, I got a XXL from the companies site. Looks like a good vest assuming it does what it says it will do. I don't intend to test it unless I have to...
I noticed that too, that on

Doesn't all law enforcement pay for your vests? Why would anyone else need one? If you're worried you may be shot at in a certain area, to THIS extent, you should probably just avoid that area?
