This sight has no elevation
This sight has no elevation adjustment, so unless you just want to plink around, and don't care about accuracy, then you should probably go with another sight. I was going to use rude language and blast this sight, but I think you can understand what I'm trying to say. I bought a LMT rear sight and it's very nice compared to this Magpul rear sight.

Unless you have a non-standard front sight or are shooting beyond 300 yards, you will not need elevation adjustment on the rear sight.

Just ordered one for a back up AR. I wanted a fancy handguard and metal rear flip up site, but the $300+ you save by going with magpul really helps with the optic and light.

I have these on a smith I bought and it's like the target finds the bullet lol. I always liked carry handles so I bought one and it shot way to the left even after adjusting so I put these back on. I figured it was the carry handle. I just bough a windham with the carry handle and was stoked to shoot it but same thing it went to the left. Even after screwing with it I come to realize carry handles look cool but suck ass. Now after awhile I learned the "trick" to shooting it but I'm a really good shot on all other sights from open to carry and worry the stupid handle sights will screw me up for other guns. Besides why shoot with garbage when there are good sights out there like this that work soooo well? Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks

I used the camellizer to check and see how low this went historically on amazon, and found the $36 "like New" from Amazon (probably an open box item) to be the lowest ever.
I don't even have a complete AR anymore, but i knew I would need the rear sight when i buy a complete upper with an A2 front sight.
Magpul stuff fluctuates, so just add the MBUS to your wish list on Amazon and keep an eye on it.

I tried these, and really
I tried these, and really didn't like them. They are good quality, but they do not sit flush like the ARMS ones. At the end of the day I prefer the Knights Armament Co flip up USMC version and an A2 front sight. I also like the Daniel Defense fixed front and fixed rear and a co-witness with my HALO........trucks don't run your guns over in combat......and if you drop your gun you are dead.....
I love the "could happen" stuff...reminds me of Tommy Boy when Chris Farley screws up the Butcher and the Cow analogy....yes, a lot of stuff "could " happen.....but it never does.
This is just my opinion and know plenty of guys who love these...they are very durable and a great value.

I have a serious issue with plastic sights. I don't mind big chunks of firearms being plastic but for combat use the sights and lowers have to be able to withstand extended abuse.

the mbus sites work well and they are american made at a good price point.
I read a review lately where
I read a review lately where the guy tested the Magpul sight, the Troy industry sight, and one other. He did a drop test and the Magpul was the only one that was still accurate. The plastic will flex where the metal bends.
