Description:

The New Ammunition That Has Gun Owners Drooling - They call it the R.I.P. round and with good reason. G2 Research has released a new ammo that is taking the market by storm and has gun owners all over the country trying to find where to pick some up.

For Pricing Info and "In Stock" Notifications please click here

As of now, the company is only releasing specifications for their 9mm round and they go a lil’ something like this:

* 16″ Penetration
* Up to 6″ diameter spread
* 96 gr projectile
* 2″ grouping at 25 yrds
* 1265 FPS / 490 Muzzle Energy
* 9 Separate Wound Channels
* Precision Machined
* Solid Copper / Lead Free
* Defeats all known barriers such as sheet metal, sheet rock, windshields, plywood, heavy winter clothing

When will your ammo be on the market in volume and do you sell direct?
"As of today, we are shooting for January 17, 2014 for the ammo to hit the market. It will be limited as we can only produce 60,000 bullets per month per machine. We will take orders but our distributors take priority as they have placed to contracts. AmmoZone will be selling our projectiles in limited supply and they will be the company accepting back orders until further notice."

The 2nd is a carry permit.

The 2nd is a carry permit. Any member of our armed forces who doesn't get that, well, frightens me.
The military should be the Largest supporter of Civilian Rights.... defender OF the Constitution.

The Civilian Population IS THE FIRST LINE OF SUPPORT FOR THE MILITARY.

IF the government shits on you we get pissed off, if they shit on us you say nothing.

Reading this is making me sick.

You people know Criminals don't read the latest gun rag and run around dropping $3 a round on ammo to run through their AK or $25 super brite chrome Raven .25 auto or High point.

I'm not even smart enough to skip this without commenting

Drooling? Really? The

Drooling? Really? The latest wonderound in a long line of wonderounds.

Its very pretty ammo. Its shiny, and pointy and scary looking. The video shows how bad it will over penetrate which makes it pretty much useless for home protection. Yea, its "environmentally friendly" as if I care.

Looks like a waste of money..

Hornady, Speer, Glaser,

Hornady, Speer, Glaser, Corbon etc... All of these manufacturers have literally millions of dollars for R&D. Yet not a one of them has ever produced a round like this commercially.... CAN YOU GUESS WHY?!

Because its BULLSHIT!! I really hope all the "Thumbs Up" and positive reviews are just spam and self promotion. I hope no one is actually gullible enough to think these are anything more than "tacti-cool" rounds to make $ off idiots.

(Soap box adjourned)

To all of you and I mean ALL of you claiming to be veterans and running your cock sucker about gun and ammunition restriction are A: a fucking liar and never served or B: a complete disgrace and flat out embarrassment to my uniform. Ssgt. Caldwell U.S. Army Rangers. P.S. the 2nd amendment is NOT misunderstood you fucking half wit. It was established to keep the people equally armed as the government so that they may fight said government should it become to big or tyrannical. I am a REAL veteran and I will uphold my oath and kill ANY enemy to the constitution including fake wannabe soldiers.

I was 11B with Opt40 contract

I was 11B with Opt40 contract for airborne after basic found out I have cancer I consider myself a soldier and I feel I have ever right to say so I grew up around guns with my family shooting/hunting is a tradition its no secret that big govt and corperations have turned the U.S. into cites where you may only be able to fire a gun in an indoor range I don't agree with gun control or restrictions the 2nd amendment was not built to have restrictions it was made so we had same power as those who serve US not themselves seems many people forget that.

I'm with you, Ranger. 2A was the protection built into the constitution by the Founding Fathers to ensure that citizens were not outgunned by the Federal structure. If you didn't understand the oath you swore as a guardian of that freedom, un-f@&ck yourself and update your English. Enemies foreign and domestic means anyone who threatens the rights of the citizens of this country. +1 on this statement.... Rangers lead the way.

“We went around and talked to

“We went around and talked to several vendors and it knocked their socks off,” Mr. Brown told the Blaze.

Even USA Today had a blip about this magical ammo. I'd like to see RIP's Mr Brown send a case of this RIP ammo to the FBI for proper standardized testing and instead of 'blowing away' vendors at the shot show (where they can't test or shoot it), let the FBI test it on their test bed, if it's so absolutely awesome as RIP claims, it's put up or shut up.

Shooting milk filled balloons proves nada.

My guess is they won't want proper testing done showing that this is just more snake oil ammo akin to Magsafe's Goat killing ammo.

If RIP sent this to the FBI for testing, they probably would be laughed out of the Federal building just showing up with this ammo that has magic pixie dust sprinkled on every bullet made by RIP's magic elves, who helped design, manufacture and stand by this end all be all magic ammunition.

I served in Iraq with 3rd

I served in Iraq with 3rd Battalion 4th Marines in the first assault of Fallujah and also in Al Qaim.

I believe in the right for gun ownership (all though I believe most people completely misunderstand the 2nd amendment) this type of ammo is just bad trouble.

Certain types of guns & ammo should be restricted or be specially licensed & sold.

Assault Weapons & Rounds like that are specifically made to kill humans... They're not made to slow them down, to stop them, incapacitate them anything like that.... They're made to do the max damage in the shortest amount of time.

One thing about our police force these days... Whatever happened to firing a single warning shot, or single disabling shot. In Iraq if we were in a circumstance where we weren't in a full firefight we always tried to preserve life. Now... They just shoot 80 times into 14 year old.

We can always find more ways to kill each other... Rather than find solutions to the problems that make people kill each other.

How times have changed, even

How times have changed, even in the US Navy law enforcement school they taught us to shoot for center mass. Now they are teaching Marines to shoot arms and legs, impressive!!! Guess it is a more gentle military now. What happened to firing a warning shot? Hollywood realized it was too fake and stopped doing it.

I was taught to shoot to

I was taught to shoot to kill.. I served in Iraq in Fallujah and Al Qaim with 3/4.

I should have been more specific with this... Our police force has been militarized. Police shoot faster at someone than we ever could get away with in Iraq even when we were in Bazaars with thousands of people.

A human life is a valuable thing... Just because your a Marine or military doesn't mean you should have a hatred for life.

I believe in self defense, however, I also believe that ammo like that should only be used in a situation where all shots must be lethal. I believe this sort of ammo should be used by military only and only in very certain cases by police forces.

Police & military are to protect & serve... In the military, we're taught to be ready to sacrifice ourselves rather than to let an innocent die.

Police & most people these days would rather an innocent die then get hurt themselves. And peoples willingness & lack of respect for life disgusts me.

I've taken lives, I would do it again in the situation I was under direct attack and whenever someone's life was in danger. But whenever we had a situation where we could do a disabling shot, we did. Because ALL lives are valuable. I only signed up for the previous comments. I knew there would be a lot of backlash, but it's sad you all can't just have a conversation, a debate between two gentleman. Instead you all have to revert to 10 years old.

Came home and voted to 0bama,

Came home and voted to 0bama, apparently.

They are not made to "stop them" they are made to do the max damage in shortest time possible. What exactly do you think stops someone? If someone charges me with a knife, I want to stop them and the way to do that is with a weapon that does a lot of damage immediately. I don't want to slow them down so they only stab me in the gut twice.

I'm pretty sure you're some sort of a troll or are you a marketing ploy? This type of ammo, it's so bad, nobody should have it, trying to make people desire the forbidden fruit?

Do you have any? I thought he

Do you have any? I thought he brought up good points. I also believe that Mr. Marine above was wrong in what he said. What Marine shoots to wound not kill?The Navy taught me to never fire a warning shot and if you shoot you shoot to kill, pretty sure that's standard across the military. Even if it's not go ahead and shoot someone in the leg in a self defense situation and tell the cops that. Most states your life has to be in IMMEDIATE danger to justify a shooting, if you have time to shoot to injure, or fire a warning shot, your life wasn't in immediate danger and it's a bad shooting. You would at least be open to a lawsuit from the burgler you just shot.

There is no military unit

There is no military unit training clowns to shoot a "warning shot". The policy is shoot twice at center of mass and then at the target until they cease to be a threat. This clown was surely a troll trying to get a response.

If you want a vet opinion, try a vet that actually believes in the principles they were trained in. We shoot until the potential threat becomes a FORMER threat. Period.

Which guys? The couple of

Which guys? The couple of real veterans or the wannabe that claims he was in the USMC? To shoot a limb is only in Hollywood, warning shots work at sea across the bow of a ship or maybe a road check point where it's open land you have a clear field of fire the driver is not following verbal or visual orders. An attacker can be on the victim in about 3 seconds enough time to close in from 21 feet or about the amount of time a person can react to a threat, pull their firearm and get a round off. Tazers, pepper spray, non lethal shotgun rounds are options for the person to comply without deadly forced being used. .

I can see the pros of this

I can see the pros of this ammo, but it's not too likely you will be shooting this at someone (hopefully) in your lifetime. It would be fun to shoot watermelons and such, but the cons I think will by far out weigh the pros of this ammo. With the shrapnel spreading out like it does could be dangerous. Think I will just stick with the HP's since this ammo will be expensive anyway....Just too many dumb people out there.
