Price keeps goin up on the yugo sks's. Christmas of 2011 I saw them on sale at cabelas for 199 when buying something else. Wish i had grabbed one then.

So am I to gather these are not original M59's rather they are 2010 refurbs? Is that why they say "unissued new" instead of simply "unissued"?

I honestly don' t know. I bought one in late December. I don't know much about yugo's (this is my first one), The action, bore, and all metal parts appear to have never seen a shot through them to my untrained eyes. the marks don't follow normal letter prefix followed by serial number so i can't tell what year. the receiver is stamped M59, though as referenced in the link above, the stock is 59/66 stock (rubber butt pad). My best guess is that this was never issued action of newer production with a refinished 59/66 stock. Either way, I bought it to use as a shooter not as a collector. The fact that I could avoid the transfer using my C&R was icing on the cake
