Just picked my PSA lower up

Just picked my PSA lower up from the FFL today and this thing is nice! Similar quality and finish as my DTI lower I bought a couple of months ago for twice the price. It fits my Colt A2 upper and military issue mags nicely. WHAT A STEAL!

Great find and awesome post.

Can someone tell me for sure

Can someone tell me for sure if this PSA(Palmetto State ARmory) ar 15 lower is definitely OLL (CA legal). The reason I am asking is that on the flow-chart on calguns.net there is this "Palmetto"(SGA) listed on it. Are they the same company or something different? I know that PSA is a new company since 2008 and its creation is after the assault weapons ban. I am thinking that it is OLL lower, but I need someone to explain/clarify to me the differences. I am a newbie to the AR system and want to build my own AR that complies to CA law. Thanks.

A few of us from work decided

A few of us from work decided to drive up and purchase ours (they were instore only at first). The PA crew there was extremely helpful and courtious. They said the last time they did online sales they sold over 4,000 in less than a week! I purchased 4 lowers and there was no 11% tax, as pointed out earlier that only applies if you buy the lower and parts kit at the same time. (You can get around this by simply making two purchases at different times/days) The lower was extremely well finished and I have no complaints.

They also charge 11% excise

They also charge 11% excise tax so if you buy 2 or more, coupled with the individual shipping cost, it isn't as great a deal as it would first seem when compared to other lowers from the same OEM.

11% tax is only if you buy

11% tax is only if you buy with the parts kit. Order parts kit separately or from somewhere else and no tax will be charged.

When they first posted this

When they first posted this deal the shipping was free. I went back 2hrs later to think more about getting a few and the $7 shipping was added.
I guess they got hit so hard with orders they wanted to increase the cost.

It's stupid that they add $7

It's stupid that they add $7 for shipping per lower! they should just charge one flat rate for multiple orders.

I believe that if you can add

I believe that if you can add them to the cart, they are in stock. Palmetto's website does not allow you to add items to cart that are out of stock.

Seen posts on forums of them

Seen posts on forums of them being out of stock and then back in stock. read good things about PSA, but i had just ordered 2 from Karri's Guns Father's Day Deal, though tempted to pick up one of these to see PSA quality.
