My dad has an old savage/stevens from atleast 20 years ago. Never a failure. I own saigas, a utas uts-15, mossberg 500, remington 870 police magnum. But these shotguns work. Point blank, period.

I'm as anti-China as anybody but if you check out the reviews online the vast majority of 'em are happy with the gun and say it performs about as solidly as the real thing. It's a bargain and I'll be picking one up as soon as I get another few purchases lined up.

Did you read the WHOLE review? The _ONLY_ fault the reviewer found with this shotgun was that it was made in China. He said it was excellent quality, nice fit & finish and a great price..
But yeah, I don't blame you.. the NFA has actually started classifying all Chinese imported firearms as Destructive Devices, because they're all basically bombs. They all explode - usually the first time anyone shoots them, but sometimes though, they'll even explode when they're not loaded.
That's the reason you don't see many picksup with hunting racks in them any more - too many Chinese rifle explosions. People would just be driving along with their unloaded Chinese rifles.. then BOOM! Now you have to live with a bolt carrier lodged in your brainpan for the rest of your life.
