This is a very nice app!

This is a very nice app! Tried it out in my local gun shop on powder, RCBS reloading dies, 870 cantilever scope barrel, A spotting scope and a rifle scope. Wow what a variance in pricing out there!!! The rangefinder had a $200. price variation from the low to high. The Stores 870 barrel was $210. more expensive than the same thing at Grabagun.com. Nice app! I would be careful using it in some gun shops though. They might get pissed and throw you out.

Is there a way for online

Is there a way for online stores to submit UPC codes with prices? or does the slickguns site hold all the UPC codes. I think it would be in all users best interests to allow for a more open sampling of stores on items, not just Buds Guns, and Lanbos. Some stores have certain items lower than the bottom price vendors like Lanbos.

I think the app is gonna be

I think the app is gonna be great for ammo and accessories but I don't see this as being as useful for actual firearms. Most of the guns stores I go to don't have the barcode available for the public to just walk up and scan. Could there be a update in the future with a search function or manual input?

Yeah... GuidoFL has a point.

Yeah... GuidoFL has a point. This is completely unfair to us men who are completely content with the phone we found inside our box of Captain Crunch seven years ago. Does my phone still work? Yes. Is it smart? Not smarter than me, no. But it can dial numbers and luckily mine came with a built-in calculator.

But I can't download apps like everybody else who's since upgraded from my old cereal box phone, and I call that blasphemy. Slickguns needs to partner with Quaker Oats and develop a brand new phone (not a smart one) that can dial numbers, maybe calculate but most certainly includes a SlickGuns barcode scanner.

Until then, I refuse to ever visit this site again. I'll return only when my next box of Captain Crunch comes with a SlickPhone.

I get the same issue where on

I get the same issue where on initial start every time it say "Restart Required" but then works after that. Also not as useful if your are comparing ammo in a store since it doesn't give you S&H cost which vary wildly among online sights. Overall I think it has potential but not quite ready for prime time yet.
