These are a blast on 22LR set-ups......and cheap to shoot......think outside the box. Put a fake can on your 22LR upper, and this bad boy, and the looks you get at the range are incredible.

I've always wanted one. For my AR or AK, but with how scarce and expensive ammo has been, $250 would be a stretch for this. I'd rather get a magpul UBR. It would be tons of fun if you can afford to feed it

Search on youtube for

Search on youtube for BUMPINATOR RUGER and see how you can duplicate with a sub $100 Tapco or essentially free if you already have a Tapco stock.

The 10/22 version looks really sweet and smooth.

Also the bumpinator is held like a normal automatic versus a more dangerous hip placed bump fire technique.

look on youtube for homemade

look on youtube for homemade variants of the same, works just as well, feels better cause you did it yourself, same legality cause you are not alternating the trigger, only stock, much much much cheaper then this 90 cents of molded plastic.

I believe you're thinking of

I believe you're thinking of the DIY AK bump fire stocks. Those are pretty cool and easier to make because they don't require a grip block to retain the safety lever detent and spring like the AR model does. Do you know of any DIY AR bump stocks? I have yet to see one but would be very interested.

This is a left handed model he did, but as you can see in the video it is built off energy redistribution from the stock to the finger on the plate, same technology except the underside strapping, pretty simple, cheap and effective design and is not infringement, just re engineered idea.

The Slide Fire stock is

The Slide Fire stock is basically a price controlled item which is why you don't see them much below retail. Some places will offer free shipping and places like SG have a club discount to get around the minimum price requirement. $300 is the cheapest you will find these new and that's only after a club discount and a coupon. Believe me, I looked all over for the best price even before this craziness and that was how it was then too.

I have a stripped lower

I have a stripped lower coming in on Monday and a upper from palmetto without BCG on Wednesday. If I order this Slide-Fire Kit what parts do I still have to order to complete my rifle other than the BCG. I assume I won't be needing a pistol grip and a stock, I know I will be needing a lower parts kit without pistol grip. Anything else i'm missing?

You need all lower parts

You need all lower parts except pistol grip, screw, lock washer. Most kits include these. Seeing as you may want to take the slide fire off down the road I'd keep them just in case.
