To be fair, it's not Spikes, it's the fly by night operation that is selling Old Stock they had laying around their home. Spikes hasn't had these is 8 months. The last "Real" dealer to sell them was JoeBob and he sold them for $115, as did Primary Arms.....this place is just doubling retail because he knows people are dumb enough to pay extra for a Logo.

They jacked their prices way up the day after the election in 08 too.....google spike's tactical price gouging and read up, there's a ton of documentation of it.

Yeah...that's pretty far fetched....Spikes actually has 16" Barrels in stock right now for $199.....your blogosphere info is incorrect. Spikes chose to NOT sell to LEO in states that support Gun bans......their prices are consistent, and they sell(not make) great product. I have been buying their triggers for $59 throughout all this, and I have been buying their lower parts, buffers etc consistently for the last 36 months with absolutely NO price increases.......not really sure where this false information came from, but its comical.

I would say that it's Stoner Arms who is taking advantage. Certainly, they purchased in bulk and like purchased significantly less than the $115/stripped lower.
They are trying to earn money in what is/was a hot sellers market - and making as much money as they can. I don't blame them. As consumers, we can buy into the frenzy....or not. To each his/her own.

Personal I prefer spikes, mainly because there 10 minutes away from me in the Orlando area. There service is excellent and so is the product, I would pay a little extra cause of that.. I like being on the central Florida area, there great manufacturers around here (Knights, Spikes, Kaltac and more) and some good small ones, everyone of the have good service too...
215 shipped isn't that bad, not great. I personal would buy one if I didn't have one, but I got a complete one for 260.

I just refuse to support these jokers that are ripping people off like all these fly by night internet companies. I support Spikes totally, just not this joker selling it.

I paid less for a Noveske this week......with Lowers becoming available, I have been seeing Forged lowers go for $120 again thanks to Palmetto....the Panic is gone guys.....don't overpay for these. Besides, anything with a Zombie on a gun is really dumb!

It's EXACTLY THE SAME!!! And people who pay extra for roll marks, and pay double to price gougers are hurting the entire industry.....please, please listen for once! There is absolutely ZERO quality difference in these lowers, NONE...ZERO, ZIP....Same exact Lower, sent to the same exact engraver, plated by the same exact plater.....NO DIFFERENCE in manufacturing, specifications, nothing......one has a Zombie on it and another has a cannon on it.....period, end of discussion!

I own both.....the absolute ONLY difference is the roll marks.....and these are retarded. I have a few Spiders and a half dozen Jolly Rogers. No big deal. I build AR's to shoot, so I personally could care less what the roll marks are etc. If I could buy two Palmetto for the price of this one Spikes (which is normally $115)) I would jump on two PSA.... I just know there are people that think lowers and other AR parts are "better" even though they are exactly the same specs, size, and finish for the most part. A forged lower made to Mil-spec, with a Level III hardcoat is the same no matter what roll mark is on it. The Spikes isn't "better" .....it's "the same" so I would pay $119 any day, because anyone with a clue doesn't care what the roll marks are...anly the Mall Warriors and gamers.
People buying parts for 2x the regular price is not good for the industry, or the 2nd Amendment......I don't perpetuate it.
