@vhyrus, this must be the

@vhyrus, this must be the only SF handgun YOU have experince with. From my experience with XD, M&P, Glock, Steyr or Walther, Walther has the crispiest break and the shortest reset. XD has the spungiest the most unpredictable (and not in the good sense) trigger EVER.

You obviously have never

You obviously have never owned an XD. They have the best trigger of any striker pistol, period.

I posted this a long time ago

I posted this a long time ago and just recently found it again. I will admit that I have seen the light and they do not have the best trigger pull of the striker polymers. That award definitely goes to Walther (of which I now own two). To say they have a bad or inconsistent trigger, though, is really unfair. I still prefer The XD trigger over Glock and even M&P. This is after owning 1 XD and 1 XDm. I sold all my XDs for walthers but I would never hesitate to own or shoot an XD and would definitely pick one over a Glock or S&W.

Obviously you havent shot

Obviously you havent shot anything other than XD. The sponge bob of triggers. Now XDs on the other hand, had a very nice trigger. I guess to each is own. Croatia is not known for gun craftsmanship. Up until Springfield slapped their name on it, XD's or should I call them by their real name HS2000's were going for about $300.00. Its like buying a Pontiac Fiero with a Ferrari body kit on it for the price of Lambo.

I completely agree with

I completely agree with AVG2FIVE, these Croatia made models are really just the same budget firearms (HS2000's) that were imported back in the day from Springfield, they're just wearing a different dress now. Once they slapped the Springfield name on them they jump up in price $200 to $300. While these guns shoot just fine, they don't demand the requested price and are closer to a Ruger or Taurus in terms of value and quality. (Don't get your panties in a bunch Ruger and Taurus owners, I also own both these brands). They just don't deserve the same respect as a SW M&P or Glock, which is their primary attempted competition. Springfield Armory used to be a highly regarded manufacture of quality firearms back in the day, that to this day still hold respect and admiration for their contributed evolution of U.S.A. made firearms. Today Springfield Armory is none longer owned and operated by the same people, they just bought the name and in my opinion they don't produce or sell the same quality firearms that was once synonymous with the Springfield name. Just my opinion!
