How would you compare it to a ppq? A plus is that it comes with and extra mag...and suggestions?

I can sort of compare because

I can sort of compare because I have a L9-A1 (longslide version of this) and the PPQ long slide.

The Steyr is very comfortable to hold. I didnt think it could get any better until I held my PPQ. I have long hands and generally prefer as large a grip as I can find. I think the Steyr feels like a slightly smaller circumference grip.

They both have a great trigger, and you could argue which you like better. The Steyr has the most silent reset ever. I hear lots of people talk about wanting a very clear/tactile reset. . I dont know where that comes into play... If you are shooting slow enough to care where the reset is, you can still feel it with the Steyr. At least thats what I figure... I am no professional shooter.

My only complaint about the PPQ is that the sights are real loose. Maybe its just because they put standard sights on the long slide, and the extra radius highlights the gap.. but they are not very precise sights. The Steyr sights are really cool. You line them up just the same as any others but when aligned you have a sharp point to use as reference, making it more clear where you are aiming.

Complaints with the Steyr... the very shallow slide gives you very little to grab onto to rack it. But its a compromise if you want that super high grip it has. Really, I only have one complaint that matters about the Steyr. It feels like the striker spring is too strong.. because when the pistol is "cocked", the slide can be push out of full battery with a very light pressure on the slide, and the recoil spring isnt strong enough to return full battery (from this position with no inertia behind it anyway) without you pushing the slide forward. I imagine this only mattering if you are holstering the pistol, its possible you might draw it, to find the slide back 1mm. I have read some say that this goes away after a while. I only have maybe 150 rounds through my Steyr.
