You're funny. Having owned this product, as well as a Beta C Mag, and having placed more more than a thousand rounds through both, I can attest to this item not being junk. Is the Beta mag made better than this one? Yes, I believe it is. Does the Beta mag work better than this one? No, not in my experience. IMO, both products work as advertised. Going into combat, yes, I would prefer the Beta mag simply because I feel it's built for a little more rugged use. Going to the range with a slide-fire stock, either mag would be just fine for the task at hand. Since we're not taking this item into combat, would you rather pay the extra $ for the beta mag or would you rather have that extra $ for ammo (or a new barrel) knowing that for your purpose both mags will perform as advertised?
