Anyone know if the "fixed"

Anyone know if the "fixed" magazine is referring to the bullet button doing the fixing? or some type of spot welded box magazine into/onto the mag well? Shame to purchase this rifle while living in Peoples' Republik of Kalifornistan; then move some where else, only not being able to change out the box magazine to a normal AR one... Chairman MoonBeam and Komrades Boxer and Feinstein having seen fit to ignore the Constitution.

Had it instead referred to

Had it instead referred to the mag as "internal fixed magazine" which would make it a top loader (Bushy has made them) then it probably wouldn't be what you're looking for.

The mag itself is "fixed" to the weapon and only the use of a "tool" with the Sacramento Button makes the magazine removable. You should be OK with this rifle. AFTER you move out of Kali, you can install a normal mag release and it'll be just like any other normal non-CA compliant rifle.

FYI, restrictions on such is not ignoring the Constitution so technically they're perfectly capable of doing what they've done.
