wish mine was reliable! It

wish mine was reliable!

It hates rem ammo, and is only somewhat reliable with cci, WWB and fioochi. Great for training as I'm clearing a jamb, failure to cycle or failure to extract from 1-10x per 10 shots. Seriously! every single mag. Also has light strikes and failure to fire 2-3 times a mag. I've never had something so unreliable, it's not my first S&W, nor will it be the last. I still have faith in the brand, I just got a bad one. I've got 3 factory mags so that's not the problem. Between 500-600 down the pipe so far and will prob run some more before sending it in for warranty. Like I said it's good training, just not a good shooter.

Checked 2 days ago and the Grabagun price was not $307.95 but the current price of $345.73. When these deals are posted, I was assuming the price would last at least a week before changing back, no?

Also, the second lowest price of the list showed $319.99 yesterday but the clicking the link to Sport'sman's Outdoor Superstore brought you to the site where it was $10 higher. It looks like today the slickguns site showed the updated price.

Just ordered mine! This price

Just ordered mine! This price is excellent and even cheaper than the last price on Bud's Police Supply site (out of stock at Bud's) which is rare for a Smith. The fact that this gun will fit in all the holsters I have for my MP40 is a huge selling point. Not to mention the ammo cost savings. My first order from Grabagun so I hope it goes smoothly.

***UPDATE***
Received my gun in a timely manner considering current market conditions. The MP22 is a great looking gun. Smith could have forgone the white lettering on the slide but still a fine looking weapon. The finish on mine is just as good as my MP40 and my MP40C and nearly as good as the finish on my Shield. The MP22 ships in a nice SW hard case.

This gun field strips slightly different but is still quick and simple to take down for cleaning. After a quick field strip and wipe down it was taken to the range yesterday. Due to running out of daylight I only had time to shoot a 50 round box of Federal Lightning 40 gr LRN ammo. Gun shot great with only a couple of stove pipes when reloading. These occurred when I placed a full mag into it and then released the slide (by hand). No malfunctions during shooting. Accuracy is what you'd expect with a 22LR (excellent). The gun does have an ambi thumb safety so I have to correct the holster comment in the original post. It only fit in my Blackhawk Serpa MP holster. The safety prevented it from locking into my Safariland ALS.

At $307 this was a fantastic deal. Thanks Grabagun!

When this drops to $300 or

When this drops to $300 or below it will be a good deal. Have a hard time justifying this when the centerfire version is only more expensive by $100 or less . Smith chose not to make a simple inexpensive conversion, they need to at least make this affordable especially considering the functional differences between it and the centerfire versions.

Just an FYI on this gun...ITS

Just an FYI on this gun...ITS AWESOME! it makes my 4th M&P handgun. The M&P22 will eat any .22 ammo i feed it. no break in period required. great for plinking and training since its the same size at the full sized 9mm. Comes standard with the threaded barrel as well. Mags were hard to find but they are now on 44mag.com. i bet that this will become a great seller for S&W this year.
