why would you buy a used glock 22 for 435 + 18 S&H +3%cc fee when you can buy a brand new G3 for 499?

Is that availability only the 22, or have you been able to find 21's in your area for that cost? (Glocks are hard to come by in my town right now... an dthe few places that have them, are asking upwards of 700 out the door... so... yeah... not falling prey to their inflation)
They hold their value I
They hold their value I guess. And yeah, they do get priced fairly based on condition. One of the LGS near me generally has dozens of G22's from turnins and they run the gamut of $300-$400 depending on generation, condition, and having night sights or not.
In the case of these, is a bit of holster wear and probably a very, very low round count worth saving a little bit? I feel its worth $120+.
