Could no longer resist call it my Christmas present to myself !! Yes shipping was $46 to Wisconsin but it's shipped fed x 2 day that's why it's so much . One mag big deal mags are cheap enough these days and it's still the best price in a long time for this ! No regrets once I pick it up have to wait till the FFL opens after Christmas and I get some range time will update !

Rea$onable Acce$$ories???

Rea$onable Acce$$ories??? Finding a decent selection of accessories for the M85/M92 is nearly impossible. Has anyone found good deals on sling adapters, boosters, muzzle brakes, stabilizers, etc? So far Amazon is where I'm leaning toward for accessories but damn they are expensive.

Why would I pay 450 bucks for an m92 with ONE magazine when buds will ship it with TWO magazines for 419? DON'T THINK SO! Especially with J&Gs reputation!

Wow, I am stunned. It's been probably a year since I bought a rifle from J&G, and as a fellow Texan, I've never paid more than $25 shipping, usually less. It might be worthwhile to call them.

JG Sales are scheisty. When

JG Sales are scheisty. When they lowered the price down to 500.00, they jacked up the price of shipping to 50. Now they raised the price back up to 550, and shipping is around 15 bucks for me. If they would have made the shipping price reasonable when the gun was 500, maybe I would have bought one.

These are very well built but

These are very well built but J&G is crazy high on shipping. The best deal now is Classic Arms that comes with a case 1 steel & 3 tapco mags etc $599/ Shipped. The muzzle nut it 24mm LH thread & tacked on. These are the best made & much much better than the Hellboy!

Shipping is $65 fron J&G. Classis arms comes with 1 steel Yugo mag with bold hold open which cost $50+. So unless you can't add Classis is a much better deal.

Both deals are about the same

Both deals are about the same value.

Shipping to MN is $43.50, so the total from J&G is $543.40 and the total from Classic Arms is $599.99. They both include one original, steel, bolt-hold-open mag.

You're essentially paying ~$55 for the shooters package from Classic (a Bulldog case, three Tapco mags, shooting glasses and earplugs), which isn't a bad deal or a great one.

I'd say, if you need the accessories, go with Classic, if not, go with J&G.

The muzzle nut is not 24mm. It is 26 x 1.5 LH... easy to remove with a Dremel. I added a Manticore brake and am very happy with it.

The muzzle nut can be

The muzzle nut can be removed. For those considering doing an SBR by adding the correct underfolder you should know that the serial number on the factory receiver will be covered and eventually obliterated by the stock. The serial cannot be moved according to the ATF. Still not a bad way to start if you want to demill it and put the parts into a Nodak M92 receiver.

It's not M24, it's M26x1.5 LH threading. You can get Krinkov style brake, fake AL suppressor cans/tube or a CNC Warrior 4 piece muzzle brake for these threads now, Detent pin & springs are also now available from seller on AK files forums.

It's probably 24mm but I can't say for sure. It's obvious larger than most and is made to use the fat "booster" brake.

M85 is the 223 caliber. M92 is 7.62x39. Those parts kits don't have barrels which is an additional expense plus fitting the barrel is not easy to do.
