Great Gun and price. I got

Great Gun and price. I got mine from Kentucky guns a couple of weeks ago and as mentioned they did charge 3% but they shipped it really fast as I ordered on a Tuesday during a business trip to Texas and it was waiting at my local FFL on that Friday when I got back. The FFL wsa next to the airport and the range on the way home so I picked up a bulk pack of Federal at the Walmart next door to the range and shot 2/3rds the box without one issue. Cleaned it that night and the next morning went back to the range with it and shot probably 200 more rounds through it with out an issue. Took my Walther P22 with me too that time and had about 3 FTF in about 200 rounds. Happy to say I have shot it about 1500 plus rounds now and still not one malfunction using Federal Bulk or Remington Bulk that usually gives my other .22 pistols heck and is about 15 years old.

Owning both the Walther P22 and the Ruger SR22 which to me is copycat gun of the Walther but only better I would hands down go with the Ruger SR22. I like the full barrel design of the Ruger where the Wather uses a thin little barrel which to me seems too cheap. I definately like the reassembly of the Ruger SR22 better as you don't have use a guide rod extension to get the slide on like you do with the Walther if you don't want to mess up the guide rod spring.

$300 bucks seems about the going best price now on these. Will probably pick up another if they ever hit the sub $250 range for my daughter.

I found an SR22 the week

I found an SR22 the week after they came out for $250.00 on line. That company sold 15 in one day and I got the last one.
This is a FANTASTIC little DO EVERYTHING sidearm and is MEGA FUN to shoot.
I fired 150 rounds out of the box and never had one hang fire or mechanical glitch.
Take down and cleaning was amazingly simple!
The decocker, firing mechanism and trigger are a perfect match and I hope Ruger comes up with a similar
system for their .40 and .45 cal. weapons.
The SR22 is so light in weight I don't feel it on my hip. Killing targets is easy and not too challenging ... wonderful adjustable sights!
Loads easily with thumb pulls on magazine ON BOTH SIDES so you can load left or right handed.
WIDE TRIGGER ... very smoothe action.
Mag release is out of the way and is a little stiff, not a bad thing.
Can't wait to see wait Ruger comes up with next!

This is a great deal @ $300

This is a great deal @ $300 free shipping. Getting one for $250 is just flat amazing! I wonder what the dealers are paying for them?
I grabbed one myself ($300 on Gunbroker.com), but havn't got to shoot it yet.

There are reports of the barrel screw coming loose on Ruger Forums. Mine was tight, but I cleaned the oil off the screw, lock-tited it, and reassembeled anyhow. Can't wait to shoot it!
